Bruton Wholefoods 145

Just thought you might like to know that we’re not open on Good Friday, but will be open longer than usual on Saturday as our Riverford vegetable delivery will be coming then instead.

Monday’s a bank holiday too, so we’re closed again, but open – with another fresh veg delivery – on Tuesday as usual.

In store now: a brilliant selection of Easter treats, including fairtrade and organic eggs, mini eggs and big ones, chocolate chicks and eggs with eco packaging, and of course hot cross buns from our Taylors, our local bakers.

Brands include all your favourites: Green & Blacks, Montezuma, Divine and Cocoa Loco.

Bruton Wholefoods 4

Flavours include: butterscotch, mint, almond praline, salted peanut butter, and sweet orange.

Just in case you haven’t been following the new products we’ve been mentioning on our facebook page, we’ll share a few of them here too!

Bruton Wholefoods 130

These Munchy Seeds Omega Sprinkles will make a great addition to a lunchbox. Lightly roasted sunflower seeds, pumkin seeds, sesame seeds, rapeseeds, linseeds and hulled hemp. Gluten free, good for you, and very tasty!

Card collectors will be ready for the new cards inside these pure fruit black currant flavoured yoyos by Bear Nibbles. And these delicious rolls of gently baked pure fruit count as one of your 5 a day!

We’ve been assured that these organic spelt pretzels with sesame seeds by Biona are particularly yummy!

These Hodmedod’s products are so beautifully packaged that they’re flying off the shelves. And once you’ve finished gazing at the packaging, you can always check out a few recipes on their website: fava bean and dill puree, British whole pea masala, or parsnip and fava bean soup sound particularly good!

And by popular request, we now have Montezuma’s Sea Dog chocolate in stock, flavoured with lime and sea salt. 70% minimum cocoa solids.

Great to see the full range of one of our newer suppliers, the Somerset Cheese Company, at the Frome Farmers Market this weekend.

Cheese-maker Philip Rainbow has over 40 years experience in the business and has won awards at both national and international shows: tasting his cheeses it’s easy to understand why!

We’re so pleased to be able to offer several cheeses from the range in Bruton Wholefoods now. These cheeses are suitable for vegetarians and include goat, sheep, and buffalo milk cheese. They are all handcrafted just five miles away from us in Ditcheat.

We’ve been busy stocking the shop with lots of festive treats:
